The commuters and motorists had to suffer a lot due to closure of CNG stations across Sindh on Saturday. It should be mentioned that under SNGPL gas load-shedding management plan, supply to CNG stations across Sindh was suspended on Friday night for next 24 hours.

Earlier, the long queues of vehicles was seen at filling stations but most of the motorists failed to fill CNG cylinders due to low pressure and as some stations stopped the supply before 12pm due to uncertain law and order situation. The commuters including students, women, elderly people and labourers had to wait for hours at various bus stops due to non-availability of public transport.

The motorists and commuters were of the view that if decrease in CNG prices was not possible then at least its pressure should be ensured so as to help them in getting out of the ongoing problems and miseries. The citizens of Karachi said that they were already in the grip of crisis due to uncertain law and order situation, the survival for existence for not having livelihood to support families and energy crisis and CNG load-shedding accompanied by low pressure has further added to their hardships.
